Make AppointmentPositive Dental Experience Encourages Great Dental Habits
Starting your child off with a positive dental experience is the best way to encourage great dental habits as they grow. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that the first dental visit for a child should be before their first birthday to ensure a proper dental home.
We would love to welcome your child to our practice to provide complete dental care. Often the first dental visit is more informational for the parent and fun for the child to get used to the dental environment. At the first visit, an exam will be performed and they will have their teeth brushed. We will review proper toothbrushing techniques that are age appropriate as well as answer any questions you may have about their oral health. After the first visit, we recommend dental check-ups every 6 months. The more positive experiences your child has, the more likely they will continue to make oral health a priority as an adult.
